Terry was a beatrhymer, beatboxer and activist from New York. He named his craft beatrhyming which means beatboxing and rhyming at the same time. He started performing beatrhyming at Open mic nights in 1995 to appreciative audiences. He was awarded the American Beatbox Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 for his invention of Beatrhyming, among many other achievements.
